About 300 vehicles stand idle due to closure of Bishkek-Osh road

The Bishkek-Osh road is still closed for the passage of vehicles due to an avalanche. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

According to its data, 289 cars stand idle at the posts, including 105 heavy trucks and 11 passenger cars — at Sosnovka, 16 heavy trucks and 35 cars — at Aral post, and 11 trucks and the same number of cars —

in Taldy-Bulak village of Talas region. Other 100 trucks stand idle at the 198^th kilometer of the road (turn to Otmok pass).

Recall, an avalanche of 2.5 million cubic meters descended on March 13 at the 246^th kilometer of the road, 144,000 cubic meters of snow blocked the roadway.

According to the Ministry of Transport, the road will be closed for three days.
