Collection of money for Farewell Bell event repeatedly banned in Kyrgyzstan

The Ministry of Education and Science banned collection of money and taking of presents for the Farewell Bell event. The Minister Gulmira Kudaiberdieva signed the corresponding order.

According to the order, the farewell bell will ring at the schools of the republic on May 25 at 9.00 am.

School principals are not allowed to raise funds for the Farewell Bell ceremony and other entertainment events.

The heads of educational organizations were entrusted with responsibility for the safety of schoolchildren during the solemn event.

District and city departments of education were instructed to organize round-the-clock duty, exclude the use of fireworks and other traumatic devices during the event, and hold meetings with parents about their responsibility for the life and health of the children.

The principals were instructed to familiarize the graduates’ parents with this order.

It should be noted that such an order is signed annually. However, some parents continue to collect money.
