«The family went skiing not on the ski trail, but turned to another place. At that moment, an avalanche came down and covered all five members of the family. Adults and two children managed to get out, but the smallest child was trapped under the snow. The parents were digging the girl out for half an hour, but she died by this time,» the police department told.
An investigation is under way. According to preliminary data, the accident occurred due to non-compliance with safety rules.
