Employees of the Main Directorate for Road Safety conduct a raid «At the wheel» in Kyrgyzstan. Press office of the department reported.
The purpose of the raid is to ensure public order, road safety and reduce the number of traffic accidents.
«During the raid from February 19 to February 25, at least 23,401 drivers were brought to administrative responsibility for violation of traffic rules. 336 drivers were detained for drunk driving. Inspectors drew up 4,719 protocols on non-observance of traffic signs. At least 59 tinted cars were detained. 4,668 drivers were fined for unfastened seatbelt, for the creation of obstacles to traffic — 2,283. About 1,157 cars were placed on car pound,» the directorate stressed.
