Kyrgyzstani Evgeniy Timofeev takes the 49^th place at the Winter Olympics, continuing in Pyeongchang. Official website of the Olympic Games says.

Today, within the framework of the Olympics, there are competitions for skiers in the slalom discipline. At least 106 athletes from 65 countries participated in it. Only 52 of them were able to finish and the rest left the race.

The three leaders were Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen (47.72 seconds), Swede André Myhrer (47.93) and Frenchman Victor Muffat-Jeandet (48.34). The result of Timofeev is 1 minute 1.56 seconds.

The second attempt will start today at 10.30 (Bishkek time). Its results will determine the final position of the athletes in the standings.
