Kyrgyzstan to host final stage of CIS antiterrorist exercises

Antiterrorist exercises of the CIS countries are scheduled for late summer — early autumn. They will be held on the territory of the six Commonwealth states and will end in Kyrgyzstan. Interfax reported  with reference to the head of the CIS Antiterrorist Center (ATC) Andrey Novikov.

According to him, the main part of the final stage of the exercises will be held on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

«For the second year in a row, we are working out the so-called military-police operations, which will be an international shield against those threats that could exacerbate the situation in the Central Asian region,» Andrey Novikov added.
