Hearing of criminal case against the former owner of the publishing house «Vecherniy Bishkek» Alexander Kim ended in the Sverdlovsky District Court of Bishkek.
Judge Sanzhar Chotonov announced the decision. Alexander Kim got six years of suspended sentence with a probation period of two years.
The court took into account the state of health of the defendant, his positive references and awards. The court ruled to recover 27 million soms in favor of Alexander Ryabushkin.
Alexander Kim was charged with abuse of official position of an employee of a commercial organization. The state prosecution asked for him six years in prison with confiscation of property.
Alexander Kim called the criminal case against himself a political order. His lawyers intend to appeal the verdict.
