The northern bus station of Yekaterinburg (Russia) opens a new international route — to Kyrgyzstan. Buses will start running to Bishkek and back from February 28, the portal E1.RU reported.

«The bus will depart on Wednesdays at 9.20 am,» said Elena Fedorova, Head of the Public Relations Department at the northern bus station. «The road passes through Kazakhstan, so passengers will have to cross two borders. An international passport is not required.»

The journey takes 49 hours and 10 minutes. During this time, passengers will travel almost 2,500 kilometers.

«The peculiarity of the route is that during the journey the bus will not make stops to drop-off and load passengers,» noted Elena Fedorova. «It will make only technological stops.»

By the way, one of the largest Kyrgyz diasporas in Russia is located in Yekaterinburg.
