The State Service for Combating Economic Crimes promises to switch from punitive methods to preventive work. Its Chairman Zamirbek Osmonov stated it at the ceremony of celebrating the 25th anniversary of the State Service.

According to him, the agency is working to eliminate the shortcomings that the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov mentioned at the meeting of the Security Council.

«Our service should increase people’s trust in itself. It should switch from punitive methods of work to preventive ones. We have all the possibilities for effective work: we have renewed the vehicle fleet and equipment, increased the salary,» he said.

At the ceremony, the honored employees were awarded Certificates of Merit and engraved watches from the Prime Minister.
