In 2017, an average salary of a doctor in Kyrgyzstan was 12,105 soms. This was announced at the board meeting of the Ministry of Health.
Nursing staff in 2017 received an average of 9,143 soms and the junior medical staff — 6,385 soms. The salary of hospital workers is 1,000 soms higher.
According to the Ministry of Health, last year 149.93 soms were allocated daily per patient for medicines, 79.08 soms — for food.
Minimum living wage in Kyrgyzstan is 4,900 soms.
