Within the framework of the agreement with Turkey in 2017, at least 31 Kyrgyz citizens underwent free treatment in the clinics of Turkey. This was announced at the board meeting of the Ministry of Health.
In general, 50 patients sent medical documents. Seven of them refused treatment after receiving the invitation. Several more patients were sent back by the Turkish doctors, refusing medical treatment, as there was no guarantee and there were high risks for the surgery.
