Karim Kokrebaev appointed Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov met today with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan Aiymdos Bozzhigitov, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Bishkek.

Sapar Isakov expressed gratitude to Aiymdos Bozzhigitov for fruitful work in Kyrgyzstan for the sake of strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

«In close cooperation, we managed to significantly enhance bilateral cooperation and achieve real results,» said Sapar Isakov.

In his turn, Aiymdos Bozzhigitov noted that Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan have established trust-based relations at the highest level.

«Our countries have great potential for increasing trade and economic turnover to $ 1 billion. I am sure that through joint efforts we will be able to achieve transformations in all spheres of Kyrgyz-Kazakh relations,» said the Ambassador.

According to Akorda press service, the ex-head of Zhambyl region, Karim Kokrebaev, has been appointed Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan.

He is 61 years old. In 1983, he graduated from the Almaty Institute of Railway Transport as Railway Engineer.
