Sapar Isakov tells about Kyrgyzstan’s path to digitization

The Prime Minister Sapar Isakov told how Kyrgyzstan is making its way toward digitization and what it has achieved in a year. He stated this today at the forum «Digital Agenda in the Era of Globalization,» which is being held in Almaty.

According to him, the implementation of the digital agenda will unite and effectively coordinate the common efforts of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union for the development of regional security, economic cooperation and the welfare of the countries of the union. Sapar Isakov noted that digitization in Kyrgyzstan has not yet marked its first anniversary but a big breakthrough has already been made.

"We have already launched a public services portal. In the next two years, our citizens will get about 200 services through it. We made a breakthrough thanks to introduction of biometric data. About 80 percent of Kyrgyz citizens have already passed their biometric data. Accordingly, we will link all kinds of state services to it. Each person will have own personal account on the state services portal, "Sapar Isakov stressed.
