PM heads for Almaty to attend Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov left for Almaty (Kazakhstan), where the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIC) and Digital Agenda in the Era of Globalization Forum will take place today.

In the morning, Sapar Isakov will attend the forum. The Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Tigran Sargsyan will make a speech.

Then, at the meeting of the EIC, the heads of the governments of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia will consider issues of implementing the digital agenda of the union, development of the integration association and improving its legal and regulatory framework. The issues of the macroeconomic situation in the states of the Eurasian Economic Union, the state of mutual trade between the countries of the union, the agriculture industrial complex and other goals related to the further development of EEU will also be discussed.

In addition, Sapar Isakov is expected to meet with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev on the sidelines of the meeting.
