The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov invited the leader of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the festival dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Chingiz Aitmatov. He said this during his official visit to Dushanbe.
«We are very grateful and glad to the participation of Tajik athletes in the first and second World Nomad Games. I hope that Tajikistan will support the 3rd World Nomad Games, which will be held in Kyrgyzstan in September. We also invite the Tajik side to take part in the International Festival dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Aitmatov and the 30th anniversary of the Issyk-Kul Forum,» said Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
He added that recently the last novel by Chingiz Aitmatov «When Mountains Fall» was published in the Tajik language.
Emomali Rahmon noted that the Tajik side would gladly consider the invitation.
