Holidays in schools of Kyrgyzstan were extended due to severe frosts. The Ministry of Education and Science informed 24.kg news agency.
It was decided to extend the forced break until the end of the week — until February 3.
The Department for Disease Prevention and the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision issued an order to resume the educational process only if the heating conditions meet the requirements.
At present, due to the breakdown at the Bishkek Heating and Power Plant, there are on average, about +10 C in schools of Bishkek.
School break started on January 26.
