Schools in Kyrgyzstan closed due to cold spell

In order to protect children’s health, on the basis of the official warning from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic about expected sharp drop in temperature, the educational process in the schools of the republic has been suspended from January 26 to January 30 by the order of the Minister of Education and Science Gulmira Kudaiberdieva. The Ministry reported.

Schools with five-day school week will be closed on January 26, 29 and January 30, with six-day school week — on January 26, 27, 29 and January 30.

The ministry clarifies that the implementation of the curriculum will be provided thanks to Saturdays for schools with five-day week and spring break — for schools with six-day week.
