Transformation NGO holds a rally near government building in Bishkek. Participants of the protest demand a meeting with the Vice Prime Minister Dair Kenekeev on the issue of land transformation in Sokuluk and Alamudun districts of Chui region.
According to the organizer of the rally Beknazar Aitaliev, Kenekeev is a member of the conciliation group, so he should answer questions of the people.
«Ex-president Almazbek Atambayev returned the law on Land Transformation with comments to the Parliament and the government. In particular, the former head of state pointed out that the law contained corruption risks. Let Kenekeev answer us what are the corruption risks in the law. We cannot wait for a response from the government for several months. Therefore, let Kenekeev today come to us or receive our representatives,» he said.
About 70 people came to the rally. People are holding banners saying: «Government, do not be the enemy of the people,» «Government, do not divide the people.»
