U.S. dollar in Kyrgyzstan fell by 25 tyiyn for a day. The National Bank did not conduct interventions to stabilize the exchange rate.
Today, the capital’s exchange offices and commercial banks buy the dollar for 69-69.1 soms, and sell — for 69.3-69.4. The nominal rate was set at 69,4396 soms (growth per day — 0.02 percent).
Dollar’s exchange rate has been fluctuating in Kyrgyzstan since the beginning of the year, all fluctuations in the exchange rate have been in the range of 69.4-69.9 soms. However, last week, the growing exchange rate of the U.S. currency forced the National Bank for the first time in 2018 to enter the foreign exchange market and sell dollars.
