In 2017, the Guarantee Fund JSC approved 237 guarantees for 248.1 million soms. The press service of the organization reported.
Such support reportedly allowed entrepreneurs to get loans in banks for 972.4 million soms. At the same time, the fund’s profit was 12.6 million soms with a plan of 8.5 million.
Most of all guarantees (104) were provided in the sphere of agriculture — for 47 million soms. Thanks to this, 145.2 million soms in loans were received.
The least of all guarantees were issued for getting loans in construction and public health: one guarantee for 2.9 million and one — for 1.9 million soms. In addition, guarantees were approved for 43.3 million soms for export-oriented and import-substituting enterprises for women entrepreneurs. As a result, they received 76.5 million soms in loans.
At least 48 percent of the guarantees were issued in Bishkek. Representatives of small (37 percent of guarantees) and medium (26 percent) businesses mainly used the support of the Guarantee Fund.
