Sooronbai Jeenbekov signed the law on amendment to the Law On the Status of Servicemen. The Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration reported.
Amendment to the law, according to which persons who have completed military service have precedence to enter institutions of primary, secondary and higher professional education, was introduced.
In addition, according to the new changes, the results of the nationwide testing, passed by a person prior to military service, are valid for 3 years.
The law was approved by the Parliament on November 30, 2017. It comes into force ten days after its official publication.
