In March 2017, he received a task from his «amir» in the militant camp to commit an act of terrorism on one of the warships in Vladivostok port.

Mirlanbek Turdiyev was detained at the airport of Ukraine and deported to Istanbul, and from there he was taken to Almaty. Law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan expelled him to Kyrgyzstan. The defendant pleaded guilty.
