Kazakhstan officially notified of denunciation of agreement with Kyrgyzstan

Kazakhstan received an official notification from Kyrgyzstan on the denunciation of the agreement, Kazakhstani media reported.

The head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Anuar Zhaynakov, explained that Kyrgyzstan officially notified Kazakhstan of denunciation of the agreement on allocation of $ 100 million of technical assistance.

We received an official notification from the Kyrgyz side about the denunciation last week. In the future, the issue will be resolved in accordance with the norms of international law.

Kazakhstan in July this year ratified an agreement on the allocation of $ 100 million to Kyrgyzstan. The money was provided for the implementation of measures on Kyrgyzstan's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union, in particular, to improve the customs infrastructure in the Kyrgyz section of the customs border of the Union, bringing the sanitary, veterinary and phytosanitary systems of the republic in line with the requirements of the Union.

On November 9, the Parliament denounced the agreement, a week later the law was signed by the president of Kyrgyzstan.
