The deputies of Jalal-Abad city council finally elected a mayor. Today at a session Salaidin Avazov was appointed the new mayor.
He is a nominee from the coalition of the majority Iygilik. The opposition faction Onuguu-Progress nominated Mairambek Adylbekov.
The session was attended by 31 deputies. Later, Mairambek Adylbekov withdrew.
30 deputies voted for Salaidin Avazov.
