According to it, the law was adopted «with a view to an objective historical evaluation of the fateful historical events of the first half of the 20th century, by declaring November 7 and 8 non-working holidays annually — the Days of History and the Memory of Ancestors».
The government is instructed to bring its normative legal acts into line with this law.
On October 26, Almazbek Atambayev signed the Decree «On Establishing Days of History and Memory of Ancestors». The parliament approved the draft law on amendments to the Labor Code on November 15.
