More than eight million soms to be spent on inauguration of Sooronbai Jeenbekov

The estimated cost of the inauguration was announced at a meeting of the organizing committee for the inauguration of the elected President of Kyrgyzstan: 8,404,248 soms. The Information Policy Department of the President’s Office reported.

Recall, solemn ceremony of official entry of Sooronbai Jeenbekov in the office of President of the Kyrgyz Republic will be held on November 24 in the reception house «Enesai» of the State Residence «Ala-Archa».

It is reported that 450 people are invited to the ceremony. The scenario of the event is coordinated today.

The inauguration ceremony includes taking the oath to the people of Kyrgyzstan by the elected President Sooronbai Jeenbekov, handing him the identity card, the breastplate and the standard of the head of state.

At the end of the ceremony, a three-shot artillery salvo will be fired in Bishkek.

Further Sooronbai Jeenbekov and Almazbek Atambayev will go to the building of the Kyrgyz Parliament, where the company of honor guard will be and the commander of the National Guard of the Kyrgyz Republic will give a report to the incoming president of the country — the commander-in-chief.

Then they will go to the office of the head of state.

The inauguration ceremony will be broadcast live on the leading TV channels of the country and on Internet publications.

On this day, traffic will be partially restricted along a number of metropolitan streets.
