President of Kyrgyzstan confesses that corruption is ineradicable

«Corruption is ineradicable, unfortunately,» President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev said at a final press conference today.

According to him, earlier some people were proud that they are multi-millionaires, although they worked all their life in civil service. «The prosecutor of the city of Bishkek did not hold an umbrella by himself, and he was dismissed for it. Imagine this in another country! It was all the same for me — my relative or an employee of the administration- no stealing. Now you can take a long-term loan at 4 percent and develop a business, let it be farmers or medium-sized businesses,» Almazbek Atambayev said.

«If you want to get rich quick, engage into business. We did so that it’s embarrassing to steal, but before it was a valor. Society condemns this. We are slowly reviving moral values. A sense of pride arose in people, people began to call white — white, and black — black,» the head of state added.
