Almazbek Atambayev comments on appointment of Jeenbekov’s brother as ambassador

Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev commented on the appointment of the brother of Sooronbai Jeenbekov as Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Ukraine at the final press conference.

He recalled that rumors about this diplomat had been spread before.

«Just because the brother of Jeenbekov was an ambassador to Kuwait, he was made a salafite... Now they say that he will be pro-Ukrainian, eating bacon. One shall just work. We have no ambassador in Kazakhstan for two years. Sometimes it is necessary so,» Almazbek Atambayev said.

Recall, Zhusupbek Sharipov was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ukraine.
