Expenditures of budget of Kyrgyzstan may increase due to growth of dollar rate

Due to the growth of the dollar in 2018, the expenditures of the budget of Kyrgyzstan may increase. Such data are given in the report of the Accounting Chamber on the results of the study of the draft budget of the republic for 2018.

It is noted that additional expenses may be required for servicing the public debt. There may be a failure to implement the plan for debt payments. In addition, there are risks of non-fulfillment of the revenue side of the budget for income tax and VAT.

Minister of Finance Adylbek Kasymaliev said that in 2018, payments of 500 million soms are provided as a VAT refund. This is due to the government’s program to support export-oriented enterprises.
