Kyrgyzstanis commit 1,419 crimes in Russia in 2017

According to the results of the first half of 2017, 1,149 crimes in Russia were committed by citizens of Kyrgyzstan. This was stated at the 26th meeting of the Large Public Council by the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic Yana Sharakhova.

According to her, this is 7.6 percent less than in the first half of 2016.

Of these, 85 are economic crimes, 55 - crimes related to drug trafficking, 11 — of a terrorist nature, as well as crimes related to the theft of money and other people’s property.

As she noted, crimes committed by citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic make up 6.7 percent of the total number of crimes committed by foreigners and stateless persons in the territory of Russia.
