The patrol police began to record the time of waiting in line heavy trucks at Ak-Tilek checkpoint on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border. The Chairman of the Independent Trade Union of long-distance drivers of Kyrgyzstan Dastan Miryakubov informed 24.kg news agency.

According to him, the Ministry of Economy formed a working group, which should calculate the amount of damage caused by lost time at the border. It includes representatives of the trade union.

«The patrol police record the time in the queue of drivers of heavy vehicles to have a documentary evidence of how much time was wasted,» Dastan Miryakubov said.

As he noted, crossing of the border is still difficult at Ak-Tilek checkpoint.

«Heavy trucks pass faster from Kazakh side, 160 of them had crossed the border yesterday,» he said.
