Migrants transfer $ 1.7 billion to Kyrgyzstan since beginning of 2017

Since the beginning of the year, migrants have transferred $ 1, 740 billion to Kyrgyzstan. Compared with last year, the figure increased by $ 274.6 million. Such data are presented by the National Bank of the country.

It is noted that in September the inflow of remittances to Kyrgyzstan amounted to $ 259.4 million. Compared with the previous month, revenues decreased by $ 2.6 million.

The bulk of the funds came from Russia — $ 253.4 million. At the same time, remittances from Kyrgyzstan to other countries comprised $ 44.3 million.

For the first nine months of 2017, $ 316.2 million has been transferred from the country. Thus, the net inflow of remittances to Kyrgyzstan has formed in the amount of $ 1,424.3 billion.
