The reserves of flour in Kyrgyzstan will be enough until spring. Erkinbek Choduyev, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation, said this today at a press conference in 24.kg news agency.
According to him, in 2017 a good harvest of wheat was gathered in the republic — 665,000 tons. «We have confidence that food security in relation to flour, which is one of the main basic products, will be provided,» Erkinbek Choduyev said.
Earlier, the media reported that Kazakhstan had reduced grain supplies to Kyrgyzstan.
