Registration for hajj 2018 to be carried out only on biometric passports

Muslims Spiritual Directorate of Kyrgyzstan calls on pilgrims planning to visit Mecca in 2018 to receive biometric passports, its press service reported.

«Muslims Spiritual Directorate began preparations for the hajj 2018. We decided in advance to inform all the pilgrims about the need to obtain biometric passports. Registration will be conducted only on them,» the message says.

4,885 Muslims visited Mecca this year.
