Putin and Trump make joint statement

Presidents of  and the United States Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump made a joint statement on . Rambler.ru reported citing RIA Novosti.

It is about the decision to defeat in  the terrorist group Islamic State (an organization banned in ).

According to Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov, the document was prepared in advance by experts of the two countries, and its final version was agreed on Saturday by the heads of the foreign policy departments of Russia and the United States, Sergei Lavrov and Rex Tillerson.

«Today, President Putin and President Trump, during a meeting on the sidelines of APEC countries conference in  (), confirmed their determination to defeat ISIL in ,» the statement said.
