Carriers from Kyrgyzstan ignore transport legislation of Kazakhstan

The facts of ignoring the transport legislation of Kazakhstan by carriers from Kyrgyzstan became more frequent, Kazinform reported with reference to the Ministry of Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

For a day — from 7 am on November 8 to 7 am on November 9 — according to the results of the inspection of 136 Kyrgyz vehicles, 15 violations were revealed, the ministry said.

«Among the violations: 3 facts of the absence of a certificate for the transportation of perishable goods in international traffic; absence of a consignment note (5 facts), 4 violations of weight parameters; 2 violations of the rules for the carriage of dangerous goods; also one failure to comply with the lawful requirement of an employee of the transport control bodies at transport control posts to stop the vehicle. The amount of fines and fees was 1,898,850 tenge,» the report said.

The information on the revealed violations was transferred to Kyrgyzstan.

Recall, since October 10, Kazakhstan has strengthened control on the sections of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz and Kazakh-Russian border.
