Kyrgyzstan to pay debt owed to UNIDO five years

Kyrgyzstan will repay debt owed to the UNIDO within five years. The bill on ratification of the agreement between the Kyrgyz government and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) on debt settlement was approved in the third reading.

All 95 parliamentarians participating in the voting supported it unanimously.

Recall, Kyrgyzstan owes UNIDO €385,087. On March 16, 2017, the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use of the Kyrgyz Republic paid €75,200 to repay the debt. After that, it amounted to €307,754.

This amount is planned to be paid within five years. The money will be provided annually in the republican budget.
