All 94 deputies who participated in the voting supported the bill.
Recall, on June 20, 2017, during the state visit of Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev to , a protocol to an agreement on settling ’s debt to of $ 240 million in 2012 was signed. The approval of the protocol will reduce the level of public external debt to GDP by 3.8 percent.
The debt to from gaining independence until 2012 amounted to $ 488.9 million. In 2013, $ 188.9 million was written off. A debt of $ 300 million was installed. For 2016-2017, $ 60 million was written off. We had $ 240 million left.
