Kyrgyzstan still hopes to improve relations with Kazakhstan

«We hope that the situation with Kazakhstan will be resolved,» Economy Minister of Kyrgyzstan Artem Novikov said at a press conference today.

Today the president of the country Almazbek Atambayev said that the republic had placed too high hopes on the Eurasian Economic Union.

«It’s hard for me to comment on the possible withdrawal of Kyrgyzstan from the union. We hope that the situation will be resolved. If this issue is not resolved, further decisions will be made at the political level,» Artem Novikov stressed.
