Gulmira Kudaiberdieva: Schools are 83 percent provided with textbooks

Provision of secondary schools with textbooks is 83 percent. The Minister of Education and Science Gulmira Kudaiberdieva said at a meeting of Kyrgyzstan parliamentary faction.

According to her, provision with textbooks is growing. «In 2010, this figure was 58 percent,» the minister said.

As she noted, at the present time, approbation of 33 kinds of textbooks for the 5^th and 6^th grades is in progress, approbation of new textbooks for the 7^th, 8^th and 9^th grades will begin in 2018, and the 10^th and 11^th grades are already learning according to new standards.
