Local Kyrgyz coal rises in price by 891.13 soms for month and half

Local coal has risen in price by 891.13 soms, and imported one — by 516.66 soms in Kyrgyzstan. The Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The average price of a ton of local fuel as of October 20 is 4,167.59 soms, the imported one — 4,658.33 soms.

The highest price for local coal was registered in Batken region — 5,666.7 soms, the lowest — in Naryn region — 3,075 soms per ton. Prices for coal from Sulukta field in some areas of Batken region can reach 9,000 soms, as it is sold in bags. It is not used for heating.

According to the office of the plenipotentiary representative of the government of Kyrgyzstan in Osh region, the cost of coal at the points of sale in Nookat district is 5,000-6,000 soms. Cost of fuel in bags can reach 10,000 per ton.

Imported coal, in particular, Kazakh one can not be bought everywhere. There is no in Bishkek, Osh, Naryn, Osh, Batken, Jalal-Abad regions. In Chui, Issyk-Kul and Talas regions, it is sold on an average for 4,658.33 soms per ton. The highest price is in Talas.
