Onuguu-Progress faction nominated its candidate for the post of Speaker of the Parliament. This was announced today at the meeting by its leader Bakyt Torobaev.
According to him, the faction nominates Iskhak Masaliyev.
Today Chynybai Tursunbekov announced his resignation from the post of parliamentary speaker.
The majority coalition has nominated a single candidate — deputy from faction Dastan Dzhumabekov.
