Chynybai Tursunbekov does not intend to leave politics, despite his resignation. The Speaker of the Parliament announced today at a plenary session.

He admitted that he made the decision to resign within the last 24 hours. «Many colleagues came to me, asked not to leave, and gave high praise to my work. But I have made the decision,» Chynybai Tursunbekov said.

«And most important, I leave the post of the speaker, but I will not leave politics, I will not leave Parliament. I will work as long as you will. We must trust each other and the chosen course,» Chynybai Tursunbekov said.
