Kyrgyzstan faces Kazakh coal supply problems

There are interruptions in the delivery of Kazakh coal to Kyrgyzstan. Kuban Myrzakanov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use of the Kyrgyz Republic told today at a press conference.

According to him, there is no official ban on the supply of coal to Kyrgyzstan. Bishkek Heating and Power Plant receives the fuel as usual. There are only interruptions in the supply of fuel for the population.

The Kyrgyz delegation is in Kazakhstan at the time. The lack of coal for the population is explained by the shortage of rolling stock due to the procurement of coal in Kazakhstan.

Recall, the neighboring republic proposed to limit the export of coal for the period of preparation for the heating season.
