Video cameras to be installed and new toilets built in Karagachevaya grove

CCTV cameras will be installed and new toilets built in the park Kara-Djigach (Karagachevaya Grove) in Bishkek. The deputy head of the Sverdlovsk region of the capital, Rustam Kasymbekov, told this 24.kg news agency.

According to him, in 2017 the mayor’s office allocated 120 million soms for the reconstruction and repair of parks to all four districts of the city, of which Sverdlovsk region received 30 million. Funds will be spent on the reconstruction of the Karagachevaya Grove.

He noted that pedestrian paths will be asphalted in the park, irrigation system and sewerage will be repaired, new toilets will be built, modern electric lighting supports will be installed and Wi-Fi zones will be equipped.

«According to our calculations, all this allocated money is not enough. The work will be carried out in stages, in general, we plan to open an updated park by the summer of 2018,» the deputy head of the district administration said.
