The heads of government of and Kazakhstan Sapar Isakov and Bakytzhan Sagintayev held talks in Astana yesterday.
The official website of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan reported that a large representative delegation of headed by the Prime Minister Sapar Isakov arrived in Astana.
It was noted that bilateral talks were held in a narrow format and negotiations were held in an expanded format with the participation of heads of ministries and departments of the two countries.
The meeting was initiated by the Kyrgyz side.
No details about the agenda were reported. It is known that, among other issues, the heads of the two governments discussed the situation on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border.
