Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulates Sooronbai Jeenbekov on election victory

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Sooronbai Jeenbekov on his victory in the election of the head of Kyrgyzstan. Website of the government of Uzbekistan reported.

«Your victory is a testament to the broad support by brotherly people of Kyrgyzstan of your plans and programs aimed at continuing the course of deep structural reforms in the country, further improvement of the well-being of the population, ensuring peace, stability and harmony in the society, as well as strengthening the country’s authority in the international arena,» the message of Shavkat Mirziyoyev says.

It is noted that Uzbekistan pays much attention to building mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation and is ready to direct all the necessary efforts to strengthen the multifaceted partnership for the benefit of our peoples.

The elections of the head of state took place in Kyrgyzstan. According to preliminary calculations, the candidate from the ruling party Sooronbai Jeenbekov won them. He was already congratulated by the presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan.
