17 percent of polling stations opened before 8.00 in Kyrgyzstan

In Kyrgyzstan, 17 percent of polling stations in the country were opened before 8.00 am. The President of the Coalition For Democracy and Civil Society Azamat Adilov told today at a briefing.

According to him, 83 percent of the polling stations were opened in accordance with the law at 08.00 am. There were some cases when the stations were opened after 8 am.

According to the call center of the coalition, which receives information from 500 randomly selected polling stations, at 11.00 voter turnout was 15.2 percent.

«Coalition observers freely monitored the voting process at all stations. Serious violations that could affect the results of the voting were not recorded. There are only separate procedural violations,» Azamat Adilov said.
