Athletes prohibited from participating in rallies, meetings

«Athletes are prohibited from participating in rallies and meetings aimed at changing the constitutional order,» the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports reminded, referring to the developed Code of Athletes, which sets standards for the norms of behavior of members of the national teams of Kyrgyzstan. Information is posted on the official website of the agency.

According to the code, a sportsman — a member of the national team of Kyrgyzstan — is obliged to know the anthem of his country, to treat carefully and respectfully its state symbols.

The athlete is also prohibited from any violation of the anti-doping rules determined by the International Olympic Committee, the World Anti-Doping Agency, the National Olympic Committee, the National Paralympic Committee and the State Agency.

«It is also forbidden to wear sports equipment with the symbols of other states when participating in official sports events and during training camps,» the report said.
