Another militant from Syria detained in Kyrgyzstan

Another militant from Syria was detained in Kyrgyzstan. This is a 39-year-old native of Osh region. Press service of the State National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

As noted, in 2013, in order to join the bandit groups, he left Kyrgyzstan for Syria, where he joined the terrorist group Jabhat Fateh al Sham (the former Jabhat al-Nusra) and participated in military operations against Syria government troops.

In 2016, following the orders of the leaders, he was transferred from Syria to Central Asia with the aim of settling, preparing and organizing terrorist acts, including in the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

At present, the issue of initiating a criminal case is being decided.
